Meet Abbey. She's my new cocker spaniel foster with a natural tail. She has the saddest face and eyes ever. Because she was abandoned in a residential area, she is terrified and can't figure out why she was left alone. It will take a lot of love, patience and training to wash away the emotional wounds from her past, but she is very, very sweet.
Abbey is eighteen months young, weighs eighteen pounds and is fully vaccinated. She is scheduled to be spayed and microchipped next week. Unfortunately, she is heartworm positive and will need to go through treatment before adoption. A quiet home with no small children would be ideal for this little girl. Although she's had a rough life so far, soon she'll be good as new, and ready for adoption.
If you can help with her vet bills or are interested in adopting her, please feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
